Attorney David J. Van Lieshout has over thirty years of experience in the practice of law. He received his bachelor's degree from Marquette University and his Juris Doctor, graduating with honors, from St. Louis University Law School. Attorney Van Lieshout has experience with several law firms and as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri.
Dave prides himself on being a persistent advocate for his clients. His years of legal experience coupled with his unrelenting work ethic and straight-forward approach with clients have made Dave very well-respected in the legal profession throughout the Fox Valley. Attorney Van Lieshout provides services in a wide array of legal specialties. Dave is married and he and his wife have four adult children and three grandchildren.
Joshua J. (J.J.) Hermes joined the firm in 2015. He received his Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2010, and his bachelor's degree from UW-Milwaukee in 2004. While pursuing his law degree, J.J. clerked as an intern for Chief Judge Philip Simon in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, worked for circuit court Judge William Boklund, and worked as an associate editor on law review. Prior to joining Van Lieshout Law Office, J.J. worked for a Chicago-based compliance law company, where he assisted several large financial institutions on compliance projects in the wake of the mortgage-banking crisis. J.J. assists the firm's clients on a variety of legal issues, including consumer collection actions, employment law, and personal injury.
J.J. is pleased to be working and living in Little Chute, where he grew up. He enjoys coaching and playing soccer, biking, and golfing.
